To make sure that we have everything you need we encourage customers wishing to buy a larger than normal amounts to pre-order at least 3 days in advance with their local shop.

Why do I pay more to eat in?

We have to charge VAT if you wish to ‘eat in’ which we then pass over to HMRC. We also charge a little extra in our café shops as we provide additional services. We’ll always let you know by showing both the eat in and takeaway prices on our point of sale cards.

Our Food FAQ

How can I find out the ingredient and allergen information for your products?

We sometimes need to change our suppliers, and this can mean that ingredients and allergens in our products can change. To make sure you have the most up to date information we can provide a full list of ingredients and accompanying allergen information for any of our products at the point of sale in each of our shops; please just ask your sales assistant and they will be happy to help.

What happens to your leftover food?

Anything unsold at the end of a day is surplus. We have three channels for giving this food a second chance; we donate it to charities who can make use of it, we offer it to our customers at a discount, and we re-use products back at our bakery such as using surplus loaves to make breadcrumbs for other products.

Do you sell gluten free and vegan products?

Many of our products do not contain wheat, dairy, meat, fish, or eggs. However, as an artisan bakery we work in an open plan environment and cannot guarantee that these products do not contain traces picked up during production.  Where we advertise a product as vegan, such as our sandwiches, these have been prepared in our shops in a controlled environment, using equipment solely for the preparation of vegan products.

We are working hard to increase the amount of allergen and alternate diet products we produce, but at the same time we want to make sure that our disclaimers and labelling are wholly accurate and honest for our customers.

Do you offer a buffet service?

Each of our shops are happy to prepare platters of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese straws and sweet treats for you. We are unable to offer a delivery service, so please make sure that you place your order at the shop you will be collecting your buffet from. A minimum of 5 working days is needed for buffet orders.

Do you make celebration cakes?

We produce three different 10’’ round celebration cakes in Rainbow Sponge, Carrot & Walnut or Chocolate Fudge.  These can be piped with a message of your choice. We are unable to offer a delivery service, so please make sure that you place your order at the shop you will be collecting your cake from. A minimum of 5 working days is needed for cake orders.
